At 871 meters (2613 ft) above sea level, Uetliberg towers over the roofs of Zurich. It offers magnificent views extending over the town and across the lake all the way to the Alps. From the top of the summit’s 30 m (100 ft) viewing tower, which boosts your altitude to 900 m (2700 ft) a terrific 360-degree view awaits you. This
tour shows you the most interesting sights of Zurich and its surroundings.
We start with a guided city tour of Zurich and show you the commercial
center, a section of the Old Town, Fraumuenster Church, historical
Limmatquai and the university district. Along the Hoehenstrasse that
offers spectacular views into the Alps, we drive to Rapperswil, called
the 'City of Roses'. The charming little town of Rapperswil offers
unique attractions for visitors - the Rose Gardens, the Castle, the
deer park on the Lindenhof and the picturesque Old Town. After a guided
orientation tour and some time at leisure in Rapperswil, enjoy a 2-hour
cruise on the Lake of Zurich (unescorted). On board you will find
a restaurant. First possible boat back is scheduled to arrive at 3.15
p.m. at Zurich Buerkliplatz Pier. Between November and March there
are no boats operating, so you return to Zurich by modern train "Gold
Coast Express" along the romantic road that follows the lake-shore. |

An
adventure excursion to the highest vantage point in Central Switzerland.
A pleasant ride with our deluxe motor coach takes you to the mountain
resort of Engelberg in Central Switzerland, where you will board the
aerial cableway for a 45 minute journey from the green valley bottom
to the high alpine glacier region at 3020 m/10000 ft which guarantees
snow the whole year round. Enjoy a magnificent ride in the world's
first ever revolving 'ROTAIR' gondola, which offers a 360° panoramic
view into the Alps. During the 2 hours stay on the mountain visit
the Ice Grotto, experience the new 'Ice Flyer' - chair lift ride over
the glacier with fantastic views into crevasses and ice falls and
enjoy a snow slide on the 'Fun lift'. (These activities are included
in our tour). After the descent to Engelberg we board our coach for
a drive to Lucerne, time at leisure (approx. 1 hour) for sightseeing
and shopping before the coach takes you back to Zurich. |

An
excursion to the ever popular summer and winter resort in the heart
of Central Switzerland, Engelberg (Angel Mountain) was originally
founded by the Benedictines and the imposing monastery dominates the
center of the village. The Baroque style monastery church, which houses
the largest organ in Switzerland, is open for visits to the public.
Enjoy a 2-3 hour independent stay in this lovely mountain village
to relax or stroll. Return by coach via Lucerne (some time at leisure)
to Zurich. |

Travel
to Kriens in coach with guide. This is the starting point for the
"Golden Roundtrip". You will then independently take the
panoramic gondola and aerial cablecar to reach the top of Mt. Pilatus
(7000 feet). Enjoy the magnificent view of the Alps and lake. Several
restaurants and a large sun terrace await you. Experience the descent
to Alpnachstad on the steepest cogwheel railway in the world. Continue
by boat on Lake Lucerne to Lucerne. Here you will have some time at
your leisure before meeting your guide an returning to Zurich by coach. |

excursions takes you to Central Switzerland. Travel to Lucerne in
coach with guide. At the pier you will continue the journey independently.
Embark on a very pleasant cruise on Lake Lucerne to Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock.
Disembark and take the nostalgic funicular railway up to Buergenstock
(3'000 feet). Enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view into the majestic
world of Alps and over Lake Lucerne. Buergenstock is an idyllic spot
that will invite you to stroll. Return by funicular and boat to Lucerne
where you will have approx. 1 hour before you return to Zurich by

interesting drive by deluxe motorcoach takes you to historical Central
Switzerland, to the city of Lucerne. On a brief orientation tour you
will see the main sights of Lucerne. Enjoy a stay (approx. 5 hours)
for independent activities. Lucerne offers a wide range of attractions
for everybody. The list is impressive: the Old Town, the famous Chapel
Bridge, the Lion Monument, the City Train – the new attraction.
In addition there’s the Lake promenade, Europe’s largest
Transport Museum, the IMAX film theatre, and the Picasso Museum. You
won’t run out of places to visit! Meet your guide in the late
afternoon for the return coach journey to Zurich. |

This
excursion takes you to the picturesque city of Lucerne. After a short
orientation tour of the city you will proceed to a typical Old Town
restaurant where traditional Swiss dishes will be served. You will
start with a cheese Fondue, followed by a hearty Bratwurst, which
is a veal sausage, and Roesti-potatoes. A delicious dessert is served
later. During lunch you will be entertained with yodeling, singing,
Alphorn-blowing and flag- throwing - Swiss Folklore at it’s
best! The meal and program lasts about two hours. The afternoon
is yours for sightseeing and shopping before the bus will pick you
up to return to Zurich. |

Heidi's
world is not only a children's fairy-tale, it really exists! After
a tour of Zurich we follow the lake to Rapperswil and visit the picturesque
Old Town and its medieval castle - time at leisure. Then after crossing
the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we reach the
lovely Toggenberg region with the most picturesque scenery of green
hills and valleys. In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality
of Liechtenstein you will have time at leisure. See the settings of
Heidi’s story in the Maifenfeld area. In the summer months we
can visit Heidi’s village. A pleasant short walk leads to a
collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course
lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional.
During winter months we shall have instead a visit (photo stop) to
the pretty old village of Werdenberg. Our trip back to Zurich along
Lake Walen which is guarded by the impressive Churfisten mountain-range.

This
excursion starts with a comfortable ride in a modern deluxe coach
on scenic routes to a most enchanting alpine world of the Bernese
Oberland. In Lauterbrunnen you will take the Wengernalp rack railway
for a 45-minute trip up through idyllic alpine meadows and forests
to the little village of Wengen, and then further on up to Kleine
Scheidegg (2061 m / 6762 ft). Here you will find yourself in front
of the most magnificent mountain backdrop of Mts Eiger, Mönch
and Jungfrau. The imposing Eiger North Face is within touching distance.
Time for lunch, relax or do some hiking on the well-signed hiking
trails for all levels of competence. The unaccompanied trip back down
to the valley follows the north-west slopes of the Eiger to the famous
resort of Grindelwald. (During winter season the tour is fully guided
also the down hill train ride to Grindelwald). Late afternoon departure
to Zurich by coach with guide. Arrival in Zurich at approx. 8 pm. |

unforgettable Alpine tour to the majestic world of the Jungfraujoch
- Top of Europe at 3'454 m /11'333 ft. A scenic coach tour takes us
to the magnificent mountain world of the Bernese Oberland. After a short
interlude in Interlaken we reach Lauterbrunnen where we board the cogwheel
train for the most interesting mountain train trip via Kleine Scheidegg
at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face to Jungfraujoch - Europe's
highest railway station. Enjoy the incredible world of eternal snow
and ice. Visit the Ice Palace, experience the breathtaking panorama
view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace overlooking the Aletsch Glacier
(Europe's longest glacier) and the snow-capped peaks of the neighboring
countries. The down hill mountain trip takes us to Grindelwald where
our coach awaits us for the return to Zurich. Arrival in Zurich at approx.
8 p.m. You will never forget this trip up to the amazing world of Jungfraujoch
– Top of Europe – UNESCO named World Heritage Park of

An excursion to one of Switzerland's most magnificent Alpine regions. The guided coach tour takes you on scenic routes to Interlaken at the foot of the snow-covered Alps of the Bernese Oberland. After some time at leisure in Interlaken the coach takes you to the well-known holiday resort of Grindelwald, which is nick-named the 'Glacier Village'. You will have enough time to explore this region on your own. An optional cable car ride (operates only May 10 - October 26, 2008) to the sunny terrace of ‘Mt. First’ at 2’168m / 7113 ft is recommended - for a breathtaking panorama of the Bernese Alps. In the late afternoon meet your coach and guide for the return journey to Zurich.
